Regional Finance Director - Hotel Group The Regional Finance Director will support the RMD by ensuring that every hotel achieves its budgeted conversion % of sales to profit.
Responsibilities:
• Manning cost (£) and (%) is in line with parameters and business levels and, with the RMD, taking immediate and decisive corrective action where required.
• Costs are strictly controlled to company guidelines
• All pricing in the hotels is appropriate for the quality, market position of the hotel and its competitor ;
• All marketing offers deliver an acceptable rate of return cash profit
• Support the RMD to develop each business
• Hotel forecasts are accurate and supported by good evidence
• Evaluate capital expenditure requests before these are put forward to the Board for consideration with the necessary approvals in place
• Financial Controller (FC) at each hotel or covering each hotel with the required qualifications, experience and ability to carry out the role to the required standard.
• FC at each hotel, in control of guest ledger, deposit ledger, sales ledger, stock levels, food, liquor, spa professional stock, retail and that appropriate action taken where there are deficits
• Review of credits, complimentary rooms and complimentary vouchers
• Visit the hotel to identify bad practice, inefficiencies and other issues requiring action
