Due to an internal promotion, my client are looking to add to their existing finance team, with a qualified and experienced Management Accountant. The role will focus on supporting the senior finance team with financial analysis, commentary and data as well as providing input to commercial decision making and strategy.

Description

The Management Accountant position will be a key role to the finance department,and will offer and interesting and varied challenge. The main responsibilities will include;

• Providing support and financial information to senior stakeholders including profit & loss, cash flow data and other crucial data.

• Supporting with strategic decisions and Financial appraisals for the business.

• Commercial analysis of bids and contracts

• Providing support for key suppliers (accuracy of data, financial viability of projects).

• Analysis and communication of product & customer Profitability, product variance & margin analysis.

• Supporting non finance teams with relevant data

• Developing/maintaining extensive reports to provide detailed commercial reporting.

• Preparation of UK monthly and quarterly budget/forecasts

• Ad-hoc project support to the wider business

• Supporting with compliance processes

Profile

Due to the importance of this role, it is important that the right candidate is;

• Qualified CIMA, ACA or ACCA

• Experience of working with costing, variance analysis, sales analysis, commercial decision making, project analysis, ideally in a manufacturing business

• Working knowledge of BI Pyramid, AX and HFM desirable

• Good influencing skills, with the ability to work with senior business partners

• Ability to work accurately and within deadlines
