Our client are a statutory public corporation that manages and maintain Oil Fuel Depots and a Petroleum Storage Depot on behalf of the Ministry of Defence. They are currently seeking a Purchase Ledger Assistant on a 3 month basis. JOB TITLE:
Purchase Ledger Assistant JOB TYPE: Temporary - 3 months

SALARY:
£24,000 - £26,000 ( Depending on experience) COMPANY TYPE: Government HOURS: 8:00am - 4:00pm with 45mins lunch

LOCATION:
Central London THE ROLE Checking, coding and processing of all purchase invoices through the relevant financial system. Checking, coding and processing all staff expenses to ensure all receipts are checked and within policies, procedures and HMRC guidelines. Preparation of weekly supplier and staff payment runs. Accurate and up to date filing of all documentations. Maintain all aspects of the purchase ledger and assist procurement team when necessary to set up new suppliers etc. Maintenance of minor new works projects records or capital projects on Access Dimensions. Finance liaison with suppliers. Ad-hoc duties as may be requested by management. About you Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Good organisation skills High attention to detail Good interpersonal skills to forge strong positive working relationships with stakeholders IT Literate, proficient MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Team player with excellent inter-personal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Excellent time management and organisational skills with high attention to detail.
