This role will give you the opportunity to, alongside your day to day duties mentor and train staff. You must have an experience working within a practice environment. Essential Requirements: It is essential candidates have previous experience with IRIS, XERO(Quick books and Sage would also be an advantage) as well as; Experience within an Accountancy Practice Newly ICAEW / ACCA qualified or Part Qualified Strong attention to detail Frequently seeks feedback on own performance, is able to respond positively to constructive criticism, pursues ways to develop own skills further and strives for additional responsibility Demonstrates high levels of commitment and flexibility, actively offering assistance to other colleagues and takes ownership for own tasks assigned Exceptional, effective and appropriate communication skills both verbal and written The ability to deliver quality work to agreed, often tight deadlines and timescales Responsibilities and Tasks Include: The role will involve preparing management accounts for around 120 - 140 clients as well as; Quarterly PAYE Assisting the senior with managing statutory accounts jobs End of year payroll filling, P60, Dividend Voucher and RTI Review work diligently from junior team members and provide constructive feedback Supporting Junior Staff with staff development Evaluating financial information for management and final approval purposes Preparation of client VAT returns Preparation of budgets/forecasts and other adhoc information for clients Keep up to date with relevant technical material Keep up to date with technical materials If this is something you would be interested In hearing more about, please apply directly or contact Lauren Hunsdon at AJ Chambers
