Accounts Assistant - Maidenhead - Part Time Flexible Hours - £16 - £19 per Hour Our key client, a leading business services company based in Maidenhead are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join their fast paced team Accounts Assistant Key Responsibilities : Day to day processing of accounts information, including inputting sales and supplier invoices, making supplier payments, checking the bank accounts and allocating receipts and payments. Bank reconciliations and monthly reporting (to factoring company) Running the contractor payroll every week (run through supplier payments, not PAYE), matching timesheets and invoices, chasing outstanding information, keeping contractor records up to date. Assisting with contractor queries. Record keeping and basic credit control. Prepare HMRC Intermediaries report and possibly be responsible for submission each quarter Assist consultants with raising of contract and perm placement paperwork using our internal systems. Purchase of office stationery and paper, general ad-hoc office duties as required. Accounts Assistant Key Skills: Have some accounting experience using (preferably) Sage and/or Xero software, including entering sales and purchase invoices, making supplier payments and allocating receipts to debtors' accounts and bank payments to Sage. Be familiar with bank reconciliations and invoice factoring. Have experience using excel spreadsheets and word documents. Be prepared to work with the consultants and provide admin support as required. Be hands on and organised.
