A position has become available for a part time accounts assistant to work in the finance department near Cradley Heath. This is a full time position offering an immediate initially up until Christmas. Possibility to be made permanent for the right candidate. Responsibilities and Duties The main duties would be to maintain the sales ledger and carry out general adminstration duties - " Preparing and processing sales invoices for multiple companies " Processing receipts from customers " Credit control " Reconciling customer accounts " Dealing with general enquiries from customers " General administration duties within the finance department - ie updating holidays, opening post, greeting visitors, filing, answering phone " Data entry of purchase invoices onto a bespoke system Qualifications and Skills " AAT part qualified or QBE with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a finance and administration role. " Previous use and knowledge of Sage is essential. " Highly proficient in the use of MS Office especially excel and word. " Excellent communication skills, verbal and written " Highly proactive, able to work on own initiative and as part of a team " The ability to quickly learn new software will be a benefit as the company uses a bespoke system for all sales This role will be paying £9.00 - £10.00 per hour negotiable depending upon experience, working hours will be 8.30am - 5.00pm.
