Credit Control Assistant - City Law Firm - up to £27k (dependent on experience) Our client, a leading City law firm, is looking for a Credit Control Assistant to join their Revenue Control team. Suitable candidates will need to be methodical, accurate, numerical and organised and possess approximately 6 months relevant experience. Confident communication skills (written and spoken) and an excellent telephone manner are also required. A recent finance graduate with an interest in Credit Control would be well suited to this role. The Credit Control / Revenue Assistant will ensure the accurate allocations of receipts, that bills are processed in time for month end and that transfers from client accounts are processed promptly. You will also report on the status of unpaid debts on any high levels of unbilled WIP. Key Responsibilities as the Credit Control Assistant will include: Attending regular meetings regarding monthly billing and unpaid invoices Chasing debtors regularly (via telephone, e-mail and letter) Maintaining records on the ARCS credit control system Providing clients with copy invoices and statements as required to secure payment Assisting with the accurate allocation of payments Distributing regular debt and exposure reports to Fee Earners and Partners Preparation of cash accounts for client matters as required Taking credit card payments over the phone and via handheld terminal General administration Skills and experience our client is looking for: 6 months experience in a similar Credit Control / Revenue Administration role Strong academics including English Language and Maths at GCSE level or above (or equivalent) - recent Finance Graduates would be suited to this position Strong numerical skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Highly organised nature Confident communication skills and excellent telephone manner Ability to work proactively in a busy and fast-paced environment IT literate including MS Office and Excel Reliable with excellent time-keeping Ability to maintain client confidentiality, information security and data protection Professional attitude Team player Interested?
