An opportunity has arisen for a Personal Tax Manager to work as part of a vibrant team in the City of London. The firm have offices throughout the UK and you will have the opportunity to be involved in both local and national strategies. You will inherit an interesting and complex portfolio of clients including non-doms, HNWIs, sole-traders, partnerships and offshore trusts. The role will involve advisory and compliance work within this portfolio, with most of the time spent on non-UK domicile cases. You may be involved in IHT planning, residence, pre-arrival planning, offshore trusts and de-enveloping UK residential property. As part of this role, you will have direct access to clients and therefore be responsible for managing the process and keeping them informed of progress and any setbacks. Another key aspect of the role is people management for key staff within the team. This will include, taking responsibility for organising any training, ad hoc assistance with technical issues and ensuring the appraisals are undertaken on a regular basis.
