Dependant on Experience The role: My Client is a well-established, practice in Holt, working as part of the Business and Private Department, to provide an outsourced figure service for clients and providing a hands on compliance role that meets or exceeds client expectations and supports the partner / manager team. The role would suit someone with an interest in bookkeeping and payroll, and who is looking to work in a busy office environment. Daily Duties: Ledger processing and reconciliation Bank reconciliations Posting sales and purchase invoices onto accounting software Resolving queries with clients Ensures the efficient use of appropriate software packages internally and supporting clients' accounting systems Liaison with the accounts team regarding VAT/year-end deadlines. Potential attendance at client premises to undertake out-sourcing services Ability to develop good working relationships with clients and learn about their businesses and requirements Acquire a full awareness of the wide range of services which Larking Gowen offer to clients Attend training courses as identified, in order to develop both technical and personal skills and keeps records for compliance purposes. The Candidate: At least 2 years' experience in a similar role A good understanding of Maths and English Language at GCSE or equivalent Prior bookkeeping experience A keen interest in a career in outsourcing A willingness to learn Previous experience of working in an office environment Knowledge of Cloud software Experience of Sage 50, QuickBooks and similar programmes. Good communication and organisational skills Ability work as part of a team Ability to use own initiative Strong attention to detail Ability to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines Benefits:
