An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Head of Finance to join a successful, entrepreneurial food & beverage business based in Shoreditch, London. Reporting to the CEO and owner, the objective of this role is to support the CEO in doubling revenue and driving shareholder value over the next two years. This is an exciting time to be joining a business that has demonstrable track record of success over the last 4 years, and is now ready to scale up. Key Responsibilities will include: Providing commercial support to the business, including analysis and investment appraisal of potential new sites and opportunities Maximising profit opportunities with clients Overseeing leases and property deals Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company Produce monthly management accounts, management information and analysis for decision making Oversee the production of year-end accounts and any year end information requested by auditors Prepare Government returns to deadlines Prepare VAT returns Lead the preparation of the annual budgets Pro-actively communicate clearly with senior management on financial matters Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation In conjunction with the CEO and manage third party business relationships EXPERIENCE Qualified (ACCA, ACMA, CIMA, ACA) or overseas equivalent Experience managing a small team Proficient using Excel Good presentation and communications skills Passionate about F&B, knowledgeable of market trends in the industry QUALITIES Personable team player.
