About the role You will work with the Finance Leadership Team and senior management to provide the financial analysis to enable strategic and operational decisions to be made and challenge the thinking of senior managers and question what they are trying to achieve in order to model the true financial outcomes and commercial impacts. You will recognise financial modelling techniques to provide robust analysis of the likely outcome of strategic initiatives and question whether what is being proposed fits within the wider Anchor Hanover business context and strategy. You will need to determine the financial viability of locations and initiatives and recommend future course of action alongside using the appropriate modelling technique to provide robust analysis of the likely outcome of strategic initiatives and knowing when to change course throughout the project. You will carry out and present financial modelling in a consistent and logical manner which is easily understood by finance and non-finance colleagues. About you You will be a Qualified accountant with sound commercial awareness and experience of working in a similar role. You will be a natural problem solver and creative thinking with the ability to influence others. You will have sound financial analysis skills, good reporting skills and knowledge of financial system and processes. You will have good IT skills and be able to identify trends by interpreting large quantities of data. You will be a confident communicator with the ability to build effective relationships across the business. You will be able to work independently and use initiative with the ability to organise workload to cope with changing priorities.
