Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the Senior Financial Analyst and working as part of the wider finance team, you will perform detailed analysis on business data - providing detailed insight into KPIs and aid decision-making to drive business growth. You will liaise with key departments in the business - marketing, operations, sales and product - delivering timely, accurate and value-added information, across both the whole business and at a product group level.
Responsibilities:
Developing, preparing, distributing and commenting on daily, weekly, monthly and annual series of reports and information; Tracking and monitoring of performances against budget and forecasts highlighting variances and other significant information that needs to be addressed to the management team; Assist with the accurate and timely completion of the budget and forecast models; Involvement in the development of pricing models for new products and business strategies; Assist in preparation of the monthly management accounts Involvement with ad hoc financial department assistance / finance projects. Skills & Experience required: The role will ideally suit a candidate who is working towards a relevant financial qualification. The successful candidate will be commercially focused and comfortable in a rapidly-changing business environment. You will ideally have had some financial analysis experience and possess a strong willingness to learn. Previous experience in analysing large volumes of data is desirable. Essential: Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills Strong attention to detail Sound Financial Analysis experience Clear and concise communicator Desirable: Experience within a subscription-based business (ideally in the IT sector) Experience of working with SQL queries Enjoys ad-hoc/variable/project based work
