Reed Finance have been retained by a dynamic accounts practice firm based in West Wickham who are now seeking an experienced Senior Accountant with a potential to progress into a managerial position. The Role: Reporting to Managers Manage a portfolio of clients including proactive communication, meeting submission deadlines and monitoring WIP/timesheets to fee budget Review draft accounts, tax returns, VAT returns and correspondence produced by staff Organising and working effectively together as part of team, arranging and attending quarterly management meetings Ongoing development, improvement and automation of internal systems Managing major new accounting/tax projects Technical research and responsibility for ensuring clients are made aware of important legislative changes which affect them Prepare corporate and personal tax returns Prepare statutory financial statements from source records and trial balance for Limited, LLP's, partnerships and sole traders VAT preparation and experience with MTD Dealing with accountancy and tax related queries raised by clients and effectively communicating with them clearly on all matters, thereby providing an advisory Assisting and mentoring junior members of the team Ad hoc special assignment work as required Experience and attributes: ACCA/ACA Qualified Minimum of 2/3 years practice experience Good knowledge of FRS 102 AND FRS 105 Experience in FreeAgent, Xero, Quickbooks and good working knowledge of Excel and Word Working knowledge of IRIS desirable but not essential If you are interested and would like to know further about this exciting opportunity then please contact me on / and or via email Here at Reed we also offer a sum of £1000 for a referral (friend or family)
