Analyst role, Stratford Upon Avon, £30,000 plus bonus, benefits


Your new company
Hays Senior Finance are delighted to be working in partnership with this well-known business, based in Stratford Upon Avon, to recruit an Analyst into their Finance team. You will facilitate Finance Business Partnering and Planning across the Group by producing monthly Financial and Management reports in accordance with regulations. You will ensure processes and controls are in place, and maintain a robust processing environment and to protect financial data in line with internal and external governance requirements.

Your new role
You will provide insight and analysis to the wider business, enabling them to make informed decisions in line with the Group's long term strategic objectives.

Accountabilities
Collate, communicate and analyse statutory accounts, financial and management reports in accordance with SLA's and internal and external requirements designed to support effective decision making and meet regulatory requirements.
Design, develop and implement solutions for the provision of financial and management reporting that meet customer and governance requirements.
Monitor, validate and maintain data and systems input and output in accordance with processes, procedures and regulatory requirements. Ensuring consistency and integrity of reporting, compliance with internal policies, controls and service level agreements (SLA's) and effective access and control of data.
Analyse, provide interpretation and investigate financial and management data, trends and queries to support timely decision making.
Anticipate, plan and forecast expenses, revenue and headcount information in collaboration with Finance Business Partners and the business to enable effective control and management of budgets and performance.
Build and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders within the Department and Group Finance to ensure the effective delivery of objectives and representation of the Department.
Deliver short-term / one-off projects and activities as required.

What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally be studying towards a recognised accountancy qualification (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) or
equivalent and have strong IT skills to include spreadsheet and data manipulation skills, with particular
reference to MS Excel and Business Objects. Knowledge of Navision Dynamics is advantageous but not essential. You will have the ability to work to tight deadlines within a team environment and demonstrate
resilience under pressure.

What you'll get in return
In return, you will receive a salary of £30,000 plus up to 10% bonus, 25 days holiday, free on site parking, and 35 hours per week flexible working.
