Head of KYC

HEAD OF KYC- FIN TECH/CHALLENGER BANK- Up to £75,000


A new and exciting vacancy for a Head of KYC has arisen in one of the fastest growing Challenger Banks in the UK. Based in London, the Head of KYC is expected to run a team of 30+ onboarding/KYC analysts in both a technical and operational sense. The team will be managing new applications whilst completing EDD checks on escalated cases. Additional responsibilities include:

• Create and improve KYC procedures in line with internal standards and UK regulations
• Utilise cutting edge tech to deliver efficient and timely onboarding, and EDD checks for new and existing clients
• Consult on escalations and team queries as a KYC/Onboarding Subject Matter Expert

In addition to the above, my client has asked to limit forwarded applications to candidates with a Fin-Tech, Challenger Bank or Payments background. Other requirements include:

• Experience with managing a team of 20+ analysts at varying levels of seniority and ability
• Ability to work across multiple business lines with a collective and holistic approach to data and tech innovation
• Results driven, with ability to build strong working relationships with senior stakeholders
