Page Personnel are representing a leading Not-for-Profit organisation with a Financial Accountant opportunity. The successful applicant will report into the Head of Finance, assisting with the delivery of financial management for the organisation.

Description

Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to, creating and overseeing departmental budgeting & Forecasting; assisting with creating the Annual Finance Report & Accounts; implementing new financial software across the organisation; submitting information to and liaising with the Charity Commission; liaising with other departments, including those in other countries; completion of VAT returns; working towards charity regulations and guidelines; assisting the Head of Finance with all aspects of managing the accounts for the charity.

Profile

Candidates wishing to apply should:

• Be studying towards a relevant accountancy qualification (e.g. ACCA/CIMA), and be approaching or at Finalist status
• Have an excellent level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Have an excellent level of computer literacy, including advanced MS Excel
• Have previously worked in a similar role
• Be prepared to travel depending on business needs
• Have previously worked in the Charity or Not-for-Profit Sector (desirable, not essential)
• Have previously implemented new financial systems (desirable, not essential)
