We have a new vacancy for a Finance Analyst, to join the Corporate Finance Team on a 12-month fixed term contract. The IWG Corporate Finance Team is responsible for overseeing and executing all M&A and Franchising activity within the Group. The Team is currently targeting a global programme of transactions in order to deliver on the IWG's franchising strategy and is looking to expand its capabilities. The candidate will work alongside Group Finance to support the end-to-end execution of transactions, reporting on a day to day basis into the Strategic Franchising Diligence Lead and with additional oversight from the Head of Group Accounting. What you get to do in this role Extraction and reporting of historical financial information for input into corporate finance models, investor marketing materials and to support due diligence analysis and data room preparation; Supporting the review of financial due diligence prepared for potential bidders; Preparation of analysis and reconciliations as required to respond to Q&A on live transactions; Aiding the overall planning and project management of pipeline opportunities and active M&A with respect to Finance deliverables; Identify opportunities to enhance existing finance reporting processes and deliverables as they relate to and interface with the Group's M&A and corporate finance activities; Acting as a key point of liaison between the Corporate Finance Team and Group Finance based in Switzerland Providing cover for other Finance team members as required; and Given the dynamic nature of the team, over time opportunities may arise to become more involved in the preparation of financial models, investor marketing, and to develop investment analysis skills. Required skills 3 years relevant experience within a Finance function of a medium or large enterprise, ideally with knowledge of financial reporting processes Experience of Hyperion / Essbase would be a strong advantage Degree level qualification (Accounting & Finance background strongly preferred) Awareness and interest in the co-working/workspace sector and current developments Highly numerate with excellent analytical skills Highly autonomous, with both the drive and capability to learn fast in order to produce consistently high quality and reliable work Knowledge or experience of working on M&A transactions Ability to prioritise and manage multiple responsibilities Excellent computer skills (particularly Excel incl. complex formulas, pivots, look ups etc).
