An excellent commercial Head of Finance opportunity has arisen with one of the UK's most successful property developers based in Surrey, easily commutable from SW London. A FTSE 100 and entrepreneurial business, our client has an excellent reputation for valuing the strategic input from the finance team, leading to long term career paths within the business. Reporting to the Divisional Finance Director, key responsibilities will include: Leading the team of c.10 on a daily basis. Allocate, prioritise and ensure deadlines are met. Report writing for monthly Board Pack, Group sign off for new sites, changes to forecast, reporting of issues etc. Development of dashboard reporting. Provision of support to the Finance Director for analysis and interrogation of data. Provide review of accounting, deliverables to Group, auditors, external stakeholders. Liaison with auditors. Support and review of the annual budget process. Ad-hoc commercial support to Finance Director and Managing Director. Review of monthly finance reconciliation packs Applicants must be: ACA, ACCA or CA Qualified (or overseas equivalent) with at least 5 years PQE Educated to degree level with good academic track record Be confident communicator, capable of making numbers meaningful to commercial non finance stakeholders.
