Global FMCG business based near Weybridge is recruiting a Commercial Finance Business Partner.

The role directly supports marketing and commercial decision making.

Client Details

My client is a global FMCG business based near Weybridge.

Description

Duties include:

Own the Trade spend and A&P line of the P&L and provide clarity to Europe Leadership team on

actual and forecast positions

Drive business profit by maximising the effectiveness of trade spend across the Europe customer

base

Ensure that revenue data in the Sales reporting systems is reflective of market activity

Maintain effective pricing governance principles to ensure spend is consistent to both stated

guidelines and forecasted levels

Raise pricing acumen across Europe business, providing coaching and development around pricing

principles and levers to sales and finance teams

Responsible for producing robust revenue forecasts for budgeting and long term business plans

Reporting revenue performance against forecast, explaining variance and highlighting risks and

opportunities

Develop the revenue model and accompanying modelling suite to ensure they continue to meet

business requirements

Effectively engage stakeholders across the business that are responsible for driving revenue

Designing KPIs to measure the success of revenue generative initiatives against the benefits

included in the forecast

Supporting the analysis and reporting requirements of departments responsible for delivering

revenue generative initiatives

Maintain monthly reporting and analysis for Marketing & Category Development alongside managing

a month end process.

Be responsible for the reporting of marketing investment in the Europe business, including accruals

& prepayment investigation & reconciliation

Work closely with Marketing team to drive effectiveness of spend via robust marketing return on

investment ("ROI")

Provide recommendations to drive efficiencies from spend including marketing procurement

Guide commercial teams on the optimal allocation of A&P for brands & channels in Europe, as well

as the types of investment based on the brand objectives

Provide ad-hoc decision support to business partners in Marketing including analysing NPD/product

proposals with regards to profit and cash impacts, as required to help drive the business short and

long term

Strategic post-reviews of NPD and ensure insights are shared

Profile

To be considered you will be a commercial finance business partner with strong Excel modelling skills. You will have experience within the FMCG or similar, consumer focused business.

Salary of £65,000 plus £6,500 car allowance and excellent benefits including bonus
