Your new company

Your new company is a well known organisation local to Kendal, long standing, highly reputable and family run. They are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their finance team to fill the position of a committed employee who is now retiring.

Your new role

Your new role is varied and involves Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, processing payments, VAT returns, overview of Payroll as well as cashbook management. The role will also involve general ad hoc duties as required in a busy finance function - with some exposure to HR duties to support the Directors as required.

What you'll need to succeed

You will need a strong background in Accounts within a fast paced and dynamic organisation - ideally industry. You will ideally have AAT qualifications or be Qualified by experience, at least 5 years experience in an accounts position.
