IBA Manager- Private Lloyds Broker- £55,000-£57,000

This is a Privately owned Lloyds of London Insurance Broker based in the heart of London city. Your new role
This is a newly created role as the head of finance used to previously run the IBA function- this person has since moved over into another area of the business and now an excellent opportunity for an experienced IBA Manager has arisen to be the financial controller's right hand person. Responsibilities will include:

  • Monthly & Quarterly FCA reporting
  • Chairing monthly board meetings
  • Ad-hoc reporting and analysis required by the FD
  • Monitoring and improving IBA function/processes to ensure credit control policies are maintained
  • Management of clients/underwriters/divisions and banks
  • Authorising payments
  • Annual reporting for Audit
  • Assisting team members with complex ledger reconciliations
  • Managing run-off of legacy broking system and project managing implementations of new companies and divisions.
  • Managing a team of 2 IBA Accountants


What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced IBA Manager who has both a broad and deep knowledge of the insurance market and would have preferably had experience working within a range of Brokers or MGA's. You will have had experience managing and maintaining smooth running of the function and will have ideally some systems experience.
