This is an exciting and varied Financial Controller position for a fast growth SME based in Abingdon. The role will involve Financial Control and Business Partnering to Operations, Sales and the wider Business.

This exciting SME Business has experienced substantial growth over the last few years and will continue to do so. The Business is part of a Global brand. The role of Financial Controller is key to the Companies growth and will report into the MD and wider Group.
Description
Key Financial Controller job functions:
Number one in Finance role, forming part of the Senior Leadership Team, you will be responsible for the UK operations of the Division, reporting directly into both the Global Divisional Controller and UK Managing Director.
Day to day management of Finance and Administration functions, overseeing and developing a team of 4
Ensuring the timely provision of monthly financial/business critical information to key stakeholders
Presentation of monthly financials to Senior Leadership Team
Owning the business planning process, partnering with departmental heads and presenting numbers alongside the MD to the Divisional Executive team
Supporting MD on the continual development and delivery of the UK Growth strategy, including inorganic growth plans i.e expansion of our strategic partnership base or M&A activities.
Regular presenting to non-financial staff on processes within the business, through workshops, designed to up skill business acumen and push accountability out to these employees
Partnering with sales and operations to ensure effective project delivery
Design/implement and the subsequent monitoring of scalable internal control processes in an environment of high growth
Collation and completion of rolling forecast information for upload into our group wide consolidation tool
Working with department heads on CAPEX requests, helping build business cases to submit to group for approval
Profile
Qualified Accountant (ICAEW orCIMA preferable) with a minimum of 5 years post qualified experience, currently holding a 360 view senior finance position
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting or educational equivalent
