Support the wider Finance team on strategic projects, ad-hoc financial analysis and accounting queries.

Description

• Support the preparation of the Group's Financial Statements ensuring adherence to IFRS

• Own the preparation of the subsidiary Financial Statements ensuring adherence to IFRS

• Support the preparation of the quarterly High Yield Bond reporting deliverables

• Ownership of key reporting deliverables to external parties, including trade associations, private equity industry bodies and regulatory bodies

• Maintain good relations with the external auditors through the compilation, analysis and presentation of high quality financial information and appropriate documentation

• Ensure all deliverables adhere to the Financial Control Framework

• Identify and solve financial reporting issues and risks that arise within the area, preparing technical or judgement papers where necessary to support the approach taken

Additional Accountabilities

• Participate in strategic priorities, providing reporting and technical accounting guidance to support timely delivery of projects

• Partnering with the wider Finance team to provide financial reporting and technical accounting support

Profile

Candidate Profile

ESSENTIAL

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified

• Good experience and technical working knowledge of key IFRS relevant to statutory Financial Statements preparation

• Strong communication skills, both written and oral

• IT literate with good excel and word skills

DESIRABLE

• Knowledge of the operations of Financial Services companies

• Experience and knowledge of key IFRS specific to Financial Services companies

• Regulatory reporting experience
