Finance Administrator

Entry-level Finance Opportunity, Credit Assistant, Permanent, £16,000 + £3000 yearly bonus.

Are you looking for your first role in finance?

You will be working for a global electrical wholesaler who supply major blue-chip organisations. With 70 years' experience and 400+ branches across the UK, they are looking for an ambitious credit assistant to join their forward-thinking team. This is an exciting time to join this organisation and be a part of their huge growth plans over the next 5 years.

Your new role
You will be working alongside a close team of 5 and be responsible for handling daily payments. This will include:

• Allocating payments
• Handling queries
• Chasing customers for payment
• Responsibility for key accounts on Blue Chip companies.
• Producing reporting and consolidated invoices.
• Sending out customer statements.
• Running credit checks on new accounts & monitoring credit limits.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful you will be bright and ambitious. You will be intermediate on MS excel and confident with V-lookups, Pivot Tables and formulas. You will have high attention to detail with data entry and be confident communicating with both internal branch members and some suppliers. You will ideally be studying or hoping to study your AAT.

What you'll get in return
In return, you will receive a salary of up to £17,000 + £3000 yearly bonus. Other benefits include free on-site parking, auto-enrolment pension scheme, AAT study support, full training and development scheme and 28 days holiday (+ bank holidays).
