A highly successful, fast growing technical service company based in Abingdon, Oxfordshire, are looking for a Management Accountant to support the senior finance team on a day-to-day basis and at the month end.

As the successful candidate you will be responsible for supporting the Senior Management Accountant with the co-ordination and preparation of the monthly management accounts. Management of Accounts Payable function and line manager to Accounts Payable team. While maintaining retention data, control account and CIS data and ensuring compliance with HMRC requirements. Further duties include the preparation of creditor balance sheet reconciliation, complete monthly VAT returns and Finance Business Partner for internal departments. You will also be responsible for the completion of ONS returns and any other ad-hoc duties as required.

To be successful you will need to be QBE/ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified or part-qualified and studying, with strong Excel skills. Proactive with a can-do attitude and a strong eye for detail and accuracy. Good communication skills and the desire to learn.
