Management Accountant

Management Accountant needed for a growing manufacturing business based in Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire.


Our client is a reputable Manufacturing company that have been established for over 40 years. Over the last few years they have grown and developed and now supply their products to a number of clients here in the UK and abroad. Due to growth and increased workload within the Finance team they have an opportunity for a Management Accountant to join the business. The Management Accountant will be responsible for:

• Prepare monthly Management Accounts and financial reports in line with reporting schedules
• Assist with producing annual budgets
• Forecasting and variance analysis and ensuring that actual spend is kept within budget
• Journals, accruals and prepayments
• Ensure all balance sheet reconciliations are completed every month.
• Produce a rolling 12 month forecast in liaison with key spending managers.
• Produce and analyse the margin analysis and stock review reporting to ensure accuracy and that the key parties have actionable information.
• To implement a productivity reporting process that clearly aids manufacturing to deliver efficiency improvements.
• Assist with statutory accounts production
• Assist with all year end Audit procedures and reconciliations.

To be considered for this role candidates will ideally be CIMA or ACCA qualified or on the final stages of either qualification.
