Client Details
The client have been in operation for over 100 years, focusing on providing IT and communications across the country. With offices across Yorkshire and London they are a trusted provider who have shown consistent growth and development.
The business are going through an exciting period of change and as such are looking to recruit a number of positions within their Commercial Finance team.
Description
The role will sit within the Commercial Finance team, reporting into the Head of Commercial Finance.
The team are truly commercial, no monthly reporting or BAU, they are focused only on finance business partnering with operations outside of Finance (primarily Sales) and providing support and guidance to the delivery of the sales strategy.
This role would involve taking a lead of bids and tenders and assessing the viability of investment decisions and sales opportunities, involvement in commercial contract negotiations and providing commercial insight (pricing, product roadmaps etc,) to deliver the strategic business plan.
You will be a true business partner, challenging senior stakeholders and building strong working relationships to add value and maximise commercial opportunity across the business.
Profile
For this role, you will be a Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) who relishes the chance to use Finance to grow and develop a business.
The client will consider candidates coming from a Transaction Services/Restructuring background looking to move into Industry, as well as candidates who are already in a commercial, business partnering role within Industry.
You must be a confident communicator, who can spot risk and opportunity and drive decision making through sound commercial and financial insight.

A competitive salary of up to £65k depending on experience + package.
