Description

  • Be responsible for continuous improvements in transactional data and master data, by:

-Improving data quality

-Implementing a series of data cleansing initiatives

-Work with Data GPO to define data standards and data definitions

-Support the Data GPO in driving data compliance

-Defining reconciliation processes and cadence

-Providing solution options for data fixes

-Defining relevant SLAs for data quality and data fixes activities

  • Define the acceptable quality tolerances (by value and quantity). Communicating these to the local markets and regions. Then monitoring to ensure compliance

  • Define data archiving strategy and ensure compliance with local, regional and global standards, legal and statutory regulations

  • This role will work in close collaboration with the Data Migration Lead and Site Data Coordinators to ensure the data quality initiatives defined above are delivered and achieved successfully

  • Be responsible and accountable for the overall data quality KPIs

  • Support the project, throughout its lifecycle to introduce and actively participate as data functional expert, ensuring data related functional outputs are taken through to resolution; to the standards of the Global Template

  • Set up effective future data governance and data ownership to maintain Global Template

  • Share functional best practice and learnings to benefit future markets

  • Provide regular updates to the project leadership on Time/Cost/Quality risks and mitigations

Profile

Finance Project Director

Essential

  • Degree or equivalent professional qualification
  • Solid proven track record in driving data quality and data reconciliation stream
  • Experienced in defining data quality standards, driving data compliance, creating data standards and managing data cleaning initiatives
  • Positive, resilient and motivated to change and simplify processes
  • Ability to perform and prioritise under pressure
  • Meticulous and organised, with an eye for detail
  • Proven track record and experience of global technology implementations (SAP ECC & BI)
  • Good working knowledge of SAP ECC and BI
  • Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks effectively
  • Demonstrated success working in a team environment
  • Demonstrated success building cross-functional global networks and stakeholder management
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Experience of implementing significant business change across different national and business boundaries
  • Ideal candidates will have specific pharma industry experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Oral and written fluency in Business English

Ideal

    • Broad process experience (development, management and application of)

    • Significant work experience in relevant functional area

  • Specific Expert knowledge in specialist process area
  • Oral and written fluency in other European languages (French, German, etc)
