As the Financial Accountant in this organisation you will lead on the technical accounting functions whilst assisting and reporting directly into the Finance Manager.

Description
- Ensuring the statutory reporting is within government regulations and there is an appropriate financial control environment.
- Develop and maximise the use of the system working alongside the Head of Finance and liaising with the Information Systems Department.
- Maintenance and reconciliation of the fixed asset register.
- Taking the lead on the year end audit process, liaising with external auditors and being the key point of contact for all financial accounting queries.
- Whilst handling the integrity of the financial data, lead and manage the system based accounting service
Profile
You will be a professionally qualified accountant with demonstrable experience of working as a Financial Accountant. This experience includes having been an integral part of year end within a not for profit organisation. In addition to having been exposed to various streams of funding, you will need to have a meticulous and thorough work ethic.
