Permanent Bookkeeper in Dundee, Salary up to £29,000 DOE + excellent benefits

Your new company is an independent Scottish firm offering a full range of accounting services to a diverse client portfolio. Hays Accountancy & Finance are recruiting on behalf of their client for an experienced Bookkeeper within Practice. Salary is £21,000 - £29,000 depending on experience + competitive annual leave, pension and other excellent benefits.

Your new role

In your new role you will be responsible for general bookkeeping and accounting whilst working for a range of clients. You will be responsible for preparation of VAT returns and processing year end journal entries to clients' accounting systems. You will complete general filing and administration duties in connection with bookkeeping work. As a Bookkeeper you will prepare and review management accounts and annual statutory financial statements and regularly liaise with clients within your portfolio.

What you'll need to succeed

As a successful candidate you will be a highly experienced Bookkeeper and will have experience of working in a similar finance role, ideally within an accountancy practice (although this is not essential). You will have experience of Sage or Xero and other cloud based accounting packages. You will be a highly organised individual with strong interpersonal skills and be confident working unsupervised and independently.
