I am pleased to be partnering with a specialist manufacturing business based in Ilminister who are looking to recruit a Sales Ledger clerk. This role would suit someone who's had exposure to Sales Ledger previously and enjoys being on the phone, leasing with customers and working as a team player. Within this role you'll have the opportunity to gain knowledge of Purchase Ledger and Credit Control too for when your other colleagues are on annual leave.

Description

Key responsibilities of the Sales Ledger Clerk:


  • Releasing sales orders as appropriate that have been automatically put on hold
  • Communicating with customers in a timely manner where it is not possible to release orders due to credit issuesResolution of sales ledger account disputesEnsuring all sales ledger cash is posted and allocated in a timely mannerChasing debtors as directed by the Credit ControllerReconciliation of sales ledger accountsProducing management information and reports as requestedMonth end processesWorking closely with the Credit ControllerOther general duties as necessary
