Commercial Analyst

Qualified Commercial Analyst required for a manufacturing group South of Birmingham city centre.

Your new company
We are currently recruiting for a group of manufacturing and installation companies based at their head office near Birmingham Airport.

Your new role
As Commercial Analyst you will support the Finance Director and manufacturing managers by providing commercial support for the business acting as a key business partner. You will be responsible for analysis and reports on business performance including sales and margins by business units. A key part of the role will be assessing and understanding various revenue streams and cost base including looking for improvement and business growth.
Key duties include:
Preparation of monthly performance by division
Produce monthly P&L by business unit and revenue stream in comparison to budgets and forecasts
You will also support the Finance Director and account managers with tenders, sales presentations and contract renewals
Other tasks will include balance sheet reconciliation and input into the forecasting and budget process


What you'll need to succeed
You will be a Qualified Accountant or QBE with excellent excel skills. You will be experienced working as a business partner and engaging with non finance stakeholders. The ideal applicant will have previous exposure as a Commercial Analyst in a busy hands on role.

What you'll get in return
Salary upto £50,000 plus 25 days holiday plus statutory, pension and discretionary ad-hoc bonus
