Job Details
The role of Finance Manager is varied and exciting, providing a qualified candidate with sufficient challenges and opportunities to develop their existing accounting skills and enrich their career as a professional accountant. The post-holder will work alongside the Group Finance Director and Chief Financial Officer on specific projects, and will also be in regular communication with operational staff, worldwide.

My client is a PLC within the technology sector, with offices based in the heart of Glasgow City Centre.
Description
The Finance Manager will have the following duties;
- Maintain budgeting and forecasting models for the Group
- Implement and own Group forex and interest rate risk policies
- Prepare long term cash forecasting for Board reporting
- Be a key point of contact for the CFO, Finance Director and Divisional Finance Lead
- Identify and implement finance process improvements for the Group Finance Function
- Prepare the Group consolidation and cashflow for monthly management reporting
- Review the Group management accounts on a monthly basis and provide analysis as required
- Take ownership of the subsidiary financial statements, from preparation to submission
- Be a key contact for the Group auditors
- Provide assistance to the Divisional Finance Lead in the preparation of the Group financial statements
- Contribute to planning for ERP system improvements
- Provide ad hoc assistance to Tax Manager
- Provide guidance and support to junior members of the finance team
- Provide coaching to other members of the team to ensure new reporting policies are adhered to and understood
Profile
The Finance Manager will likely have the following profile;
- A qualified accountant, ICAS, ACCA or CIMA
- Confident in communication, both verbal and written
- A team player used to working in a fast paced environment
- Analytical with a strong attention to detail
- Motivated and willing to take ownership of specific projects
- Able to produce high quality work while working to tight reporting deadlines
- Aware of ongoing IFRS technical updates
Job Offer

- Salary circa £45,000 - £50,000 (DOE)
