HEAD OF ACCOUNTS PAYABLE (AP): 6 MONTHS: £400 PER DAY


Hays are currently working in partnership with a large SSC just outside of Birmingham, to assist them in the recruitment of a Head of Accounts Payable for a 6 month period.

As the Head of AP you will be responsible for the direct management of an AP Manager, EDI Manager and Payments Manager, as well as indirect responsibility for a team of 30.

This is a fast paced and high volume environment, with you and your team being responsible for the processing and payment of over 140,000 invoices per month. You will manage the full end-to-end invoice process, reconciliations, query management, vendor payment terms, the control of all payment runs, strategies to solve process issues and ensuring best practice.

This role requires a strong man manager, capable of forming new teams with the leadership ability to hold successful 121's and team huddles.
