Financial Controller

Your new company
A well-established multinational manufacturing business with some excellent longstanding contracts and relationships. The business has an impressive customer base including blue chip and smaller organisations. With an excellent friendly culture, and a subsidiary based in Rochdale, this is a great opportunity to join the business as Financial Controller.

Your new role
As Financial Controller, in this hands on position within the business, your job will involve managing a team of both accounts and non-accounts staff. A key part of this role initially will be the implementation, improvement, and (where possible) automation of processes and procedures. Alongside this, you will be responsible for management accounting, cashflow forecasting, budgeting, as well as a great deal of commercial involvement. Working closely with the company's senior stake holders, you will help to drive the subsidiary forward, with the aim of further increasing revenue and profit.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA or similar, QBE also considered) with previous management accounting experience. You will have previous experience within a manufacturing environment and the ability to people manage. You will be a driven, ambitious, energetic individual, looking to really add value to a business whilst helping to drive it commercially.

What you'll get in return
You'll receive a salary up to £50,000 (dependent on experience) alongside benefits. You will be joining a well-established and growing global business in Rochdale, with an excellent Senior Management team to develop you, and a true opportunity to get involved in the business commercially.
