Page Personnel are representing a large Not-for-Profit organisation with a part-time (18 hours a week) Assistant Accountant position. The role will be part of their Accounting & Finance team, reporting into a qualified accountant and working along-side a full time assistant accountant.

Description

Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to, producing annual accounts ensuring consistent records and figures are reported; supporting the provision of accurate and timely information for in-year reporting; liaising with the Finance Business Partners and helping them to support departments within the organisation with budget planning and monitoring expenditure; balance sheet reconciliations; cash management; and cash flow & statutory returns.

Profile

Candidates wishing to apply to the role should have:

• Previously worked in a similar role
• Great communication skills, both written and verbal
• Started working towards or completed a finance related qualification (e.g. AAT, ACCA, CIMA, etc.)
• Knowledge of VAT returns (desirable)
• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (desirable)
