Local Marking business in Milton Keynes, based in new state of the art offices near Knowhill. Expansion into new markets have created the need for a number of new heads across the business, representing an exciting time to join the business.
Description
Financial Accountant Responsibilities:
- Profit and loss accounts at month end
- Producing statutory accounts
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Maintenance of the Fixed Asset register
- Inter-company accounting
- Calculation of VAT returns
- Bank reconciliations
- Taxation duties
- Liaising with banks and auditors
- Production of cash flows
- Systems development where necessary
- Assisting the finance reporting manager to provide accurate and reliable information
Profile
Financial Accountant Requirements:
- Professional communication skills both written and verbal,
- Self-starter with the ability to work in a team and individually,
- Process orientated - committed to adhering to accepted process and can recommend/communicate logical improvements to current processes,
- Advanced MS Excel user, strong systems improvement ability
- ACCA, CIMA or ACA Part-Qualified and Finalist
