Job Details
The Client Money Accountant will support in the production of accurate monthly reconciliations and monthly reporting for the Key Performance Indicators (KPI) pack. You will also be responsible for delivering the audit cycle for existing members and due diligence for new and upgrading members.
Please note: this role does require regular travel around the UK.

Description
The Client Money Accountant will be responsible for:
To produce monthly and accurate client money reconciliations and KPI reporting
Ensure the back office systems for all members contain valid and accurate transactions
- Ensuring all members are compliant
Deliver the due diligence process for new members and upgrades
- Travel to members sites to discuss and audit financial information
Profile
The successful individual will:
- Hold a recognisable accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Have previously worked in an Audit Practice - Ideally specialising in Financial Service businesses
- Have experience of working in a Financial Services/Banking/Professional Service environment
- Experience of working in a highly regulated environment
- Have a strong analytical mind set and a good attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with senior stakeholders
- Be a self-starter with a proactive approach
- Be hard working and able to use their own initiative
Job Offer
Salary £38-£42,000 + car allowance
Please note: this role will be 50% office based and 50% on the road visiting members
