Your new role
Financial Controller required on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy finance team at this fantastic organisation. We are looking for candidates who have strong financial accounting skills and knowledge. You will have significant experience of working in the UK We are looking for candidates who have strong financial accounting skills and knowledge. You will have significant experience of working in the UK government accounting requirements. You will be involved in leading the finance team, process improvement, and system implementation and produce year-end financial statements and ensuring compliance controls are adhere to.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be suitably qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA/CIPFA and have exceptional leadership and management skills. This is a hands on role so you must be able to hit the ground running. In depth knowledge of UK central government accounting requirements are essential and examples of process improvement.
