Assistant Management Accountant including Study Support Rochdale £24,000 to £27,000 Platinum are partnered with one of Rochdale's most respected and renowned retail brands appoint a new Assistant Management Accountant. You will join a department of 5 in finance reporting to the ACA Qualified Finance Director. The role sits perfectly as the assistant where you will be involved in all aspects of management accounts for a £40 Million turnover business. Supporting the transactional finance team you will oversee the ledger close and then pick up at nominal accounts through to month close and year end statutory reporting. The Finance Director is specifically looking for someone who he can work with and shape the month end reporting via efficiency review and variance analysis. Working on a bespoke ERP system, knowledge of any accounting software is considered provided you have been involved with the month end schedule. With study support available for active studies the business would also consider someone qualified by experience who isn't necessarily looking to progress to CIMA or ACCA provided you have completed AAT. Long term development into a management position can be offered or a tailored role as assistant where you get involved in project work alongside the Finance Director.
