With projected turnover planned to increase by 45% to almost £100m T/O this year, my client's continued growth has created an opportunity for an ambitious, newly qualified Accountant, keen to develop their career in a commercial facing role. The Commercial Accountant will be a key member of the commercial finance team. They will develop close working relationships with members of the Board and Senior Management Team supporting strategic decision making by providing meaningful and insightful analysis. The Commercial Accountant will provide guidance to Operational teams, establishing them as the 'go to person' for any financial queries. The successful candidate will provide strategic influence by producing reports and providing commentary on operational and financial performance, as well as producing detailed analysis to recommend ways to drive business performance. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of the budgeting and forecasting process, analysing variances and providing commentary. The role requires a newly qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA Accountant with demonstratable experience within the transport/logistics sector, who is able to establish strong working relationships and can communicate effectively with a non-financial audience. My client offers a variety of benefits, including a flexible working environment. You will also receive training to support your continued professional development and as the business continues to diversify, progression opportunities will become available within the division and wider group function.
