Abbott Transfusion Medicine is looking for a (Senior) Financial Analyst / Production Controller (m/f/d) for the Manufacturing Operations Finance Team based in Wiesbaden. This role will support the FP&A Manager with providing financial planning & analysis for the business by building and managing financial reports, preparing analysis for business reviews and other ad-hoc requests. Your Responsibility Perform financial analysis and reports (Plan, Latest Best Estimate (LBE) and Long-Range Plan (LRP)) for P&L, headcount and balance sheet metrics and comment on variances that meet the timing and quality of presentation requirements, facilitate management review and decision making Provide financial support to the business. Partner with the manufacturing leadership team to create budget and forecast. Calculate, analyze and comment on monthly manufacturing variances and recommend alternatives courses of action Perform ad-hoc requests and drive analytic projects for senior management, with financial modeling, data mining and presentation support Develop detailed financial forecasts incorporating historic, trended and current business information Perform month-end close activities Prepare journal entries, perform expense and project spend analysis and manage accrual accounts Perform headcount and payroll reports and ensure integrity with SAP and Workday Perform Standard costing using ad-hoc calculation and mass cost runs in SAP as well as Standard cost settings and activity rates calculation Calculate and prepare Request for Capital Expenditure (RCE) business cases, including return on investment analysis Prepare and support monthly review meetings with management Administer approval databases and systems (eMDO, SRM, GRC) Your Accountability Ensure appropriate integrity and reasonableness of financial data as well as attention to detail Ensure compliance with Corporate / Division financial policies and procedures as well as GAAP and SOX / Internal Controls Responsible for adherence to Abbott accounting policies and procedures (CFM) Provide financial support and fully support achievement of financial plans, goals and objectives Seek guidance and deliver proposed solutions on issues outside of normal scope Very organized with good interpersonal, communication, and presentations skills Meet deadlines and critical deliverables and balance workload requirements Your Qualification Degree in accounting, finance or engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and work experiencee Several years of experience in finance in manufacturing industry including Standard Costing in SAP Strong SAP, Excel and PowerPoint skills Fluent in English, good German skills desired Demonstrated ability to provide data and analysis to support decision making, methodical approach to problem solving and rational ideas supporting them, ability to keep learning, traditional accounting knowledge and facilitator of management needs, and an efficient work ethic Abbott Germany has a range and variety of jobs on offer in a positive and dynamic environment that allows you to maintain a healthy work-life balance.
