Job description Some of your key job responsibilities would include:- 1Improve financial status of the Company by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management 2Work as part of the group finance team to support the monthly management reporting to the board, budgeting and strategic planning, interim and annual external reporting. 3Work as part of the finance team within one of our divisions to support project-based reporting to external stakeholders, divisional management and Group. 4Work with development teams to support their reporting requirements in relation to capital allocation and budgets creation. a) Financial Planning & Analysis 1Insightful use of financial analysis techniques, tools, and concepts, to provide practical counsel to business area partners and management to drive business results. 2Provide timely, relevant and accurate reporting & analysis of the results of the division’s performance against historical, budgeted, forecasted and strategic planning results to facilitate decision-making toward the achievement of the budget and strategic plan. 3Understand and facilitate the integration of business processes, people, and relevant technology, in order to identify, configure, and communicate useful information, and to provide practical business leadership to drive business decision making across the Company. 4Identify non-value added processes within the department and seeks solutions. 5Maintain and develop various financial models and standard templates distributed for use by all of Finance during the planning processes, ensuring quality, accuracy and focused analytic review. 6Support Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) business unit analysts by being the point of contact for issues and questions. 7Participate in compensation management, semi-annual incentive compensation payments. Provide financial and analytical support for the incentive compensation accounting and forecasting processes. Respond to ad-hoc projects related to incentive compensation program 8Co-ordination of accounting, monthly reporting and report production, daily modeling, analysis and reporting and financial Analysis. 9Perform monthly balance sheet, income statement and changes in financial position/budget variance analysis besides to Investigate and report to the Management any inconsistencies or improprieties. 10Prepare financial reports, charts, tables and other exhibits as requested b) Corporate Treasury & Wealth Management 1Manage the firm’s liquidity, secured and unsecured funding programs; 2Review and Advise about Hedging, Futures & Options position of the Company in view of dynamic currency fluctuations. 3Analyze the Global Economic scenarios with a view to analyze their impact on the Company and also the business/currency positions of the Company. 4Analyze the portfolio of investments of the Promoters/Company with a view to identify non-performing assets and reallocation of the same. 5Carry on Market Research on Direct Equity, Mutual Funds, PMS and Alternate Investment Funds (AIFs) with a view to assist Management in investing therein besides maintaining various MISs and Reports. 6Meeting with Bankers relating to Investments, Hedging of Currency, Commodities, etc. besides routine banking matters like Working Capital and Term Loans including Foreign Currency Loans, etc. 7To keep a watch on MTM with regard to currency hedging, Investments, etc. 8Preparing various MISs on Capital Gains, Dividends received, Bonus and Dividend Stripping. 9To maintain Companies/Promoters’ Portfolio on Money Control, MProfit and similar Software besides extensive Excel Files. c) Credit Risk Management & Capital Advisory 1 Undertaking research and capital market Analysis 2Protect the firm's capital against potential counterparty defaults. 3Review the changing interest rates in the market and ensure timely settlement of credit liabilities of the Company 4Leverage the current positions taken and also the capital available to maximize the CAGR in respect of the corpus available for the Family Office of the promoters of the Company 5Study the Real Estate sector in the Country and also overseas to expand the portfolio of investments and also assist clients who are looking to invest their surplus capital.
