KPMG in Luxembourg is currently seeking an Audit Manager - Consultations expert (local matters and audit methodology) (m/f) Your Role As a Consultations expert, you will Prepare answers for consultation on local accounting, legal, reporting, methodology and auditing matters Contribute to answering technical queries Monitor the DPP helpdesk function (to acknowledge, dispatch, follow up, answer queries) Provide advice and prepare positions on technical questions regarding LUX GAAP, professional, legal and regulatory requirements Contribute to the analysis of relevant legal, professional and accounting documents Ensure proper coordination with DPP technical industry representatives, risk management and Learning & Development Identify needs for future trainings and facilitate trainings Be involved in preparing materials for DPP updates, conferences and workshops to audit seniors and up Contribute to the implementation of methodology-related changes following amendments in ISAs Organize methodology roll-out and deployment (KPMG manuals and audit tools) Coordinate with the technology team within DPP on eAudIT / KPMG Clara Workflow matters Prepare ad-hoc audit tools (e.g. guidance, templates, check-lists, etc.) Your Opportunity You will Be connected to other functions (tax, advisory and central services) Work closely with audit managers and partners to facilitate their daily work Learn from experience and benefit from an accelerated learning curve Be visible in the cross-functional engagement leaders group Enhance your audit experience with in depth technical knowledge / soft skills Always be at the forefront of the latest professional developments Prepare yourself for future challenges We will offer you an exciting Global Mobility experience along with a highly interesting Cross Border package. Your Profile You have at least 5 years of experience in external audit and you are an audit manager You have a sound knowledge of the audit legal environment including the latest developments Strong knowledge of ISQC, ISAs and audit methodology Strong knowledge of Code of Ethics Strong knowledge of Audit Law and EU Audit Regulation Mastering of eAudIT / KPMG Clara and other audit enabling tools Strong knowledge of global and local risk management policies Excellent coaching and organizational skills You have a very good command of English and French. The command of German will be considered as a strong advantage You hold a professional qualification (IRE, ACCA, ICAS, Wirtschaftsprfer, etc.) or you are in the process of obtaining such certifications
