Hays are pleased to be working with an established manufacturing brand operating in South Birmingham in their urgent search for a Purchase Ledger Clerk. Working alongside an encouraging team of experts, you will be exposed to a number of different elements within accounts, with the natural progression on offer should the opportunity arise.

Your new role
Great opportunity for someone with a background in Purchase Ledger and keen to get involved with a new, reputable brand. Also a good opportunity for a graduate with a years experience in Purchase Ledger, whether it be through a placement year or internship. Your day to day will consist of batch processing on the purchase ledger, dealing with queries, statement & general reconciliation, assisting with month-end & year-end duties.

What you'll need to succeed
A background in Purchase Ledger is essential, preferably within a manufacturing environment. Competency with Sage 200 package is desirable, however through the line excel skills is essential to be successful with this role.
