Client Details

Growing Hospitality business with ambitions to triple turnover in the next 3 years.

Description

  • Produce monthly management accounts using Xero accounting software
  • Process monthly payroll for all business units using Sage
  • Responsibility for all payroll tax reporting to HMRC
  • Approve and oversee, including assisting where needed, all purchase ledger postings
  • Monthly bank reconciliations
  • Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Daily cash reporting
  • Weekly sales and profit 'flash' reporting
  • Payroll forecasting
  • Assist FD with monitoring and developing the groups procurement systems
  • Manager and develop internal ordering and goods receiving processes
  • Periodic cash and business control audits
  • Prepare weekly / monthly 'bacs' payment runs and report on the groups trade creditor position
  • Maintain good working relationships with managers providing clear and concise financial support
  • Point of sales analysis and sales mix reporting
  • Liaison with kitchen teams to produce and maintain up to date menu costings.
  • Assume the role of IT support
  • Provide general support the Groups Operations and HR Manager
  • Design and implement a group 'self-audit' process

Profile

  • Currently studying ACCA/CIMA or QBE.
  • Driven to become a Finance Director.
  • Hardworking attitude.
  • Commercially minded.
  • Ability to build good working relationships with suppliers and senior stakeholders.
