On behalf of a business based just north of Reading I am recruiting for a permanent Part-Qualified Management Accountant to join their expanding finance team.

Client Details

My client is based in a fairly remote area which means that personal transport would be a must. They are owned by a much larger international business with clear plans to develop the UK business.

Description

The Management Accountant will be responsible for:

  • Assist in the production of management accounts on a monthly and quarterly basis
  • Help manage VAT process to ensure VAT compliance is met and processes are accurate and efficient
  • Prepare and review forecasts as part of the quarterly forecasting process
  • Manage delivery of audit information and liaise with auditors to ensure a smooth process
  • Prepare periodic financial statements and supporting schedules, tax computations and cash flow forecasts
  • Involvement in on-going process development and transformation projects to improve business efficiency and profitability

    • Profile

    The successful Management Accountant will be:

    • ACCA/CIMA Part Qualified or equivalent
    • Previous commercial experience within a corporate finance team
    • Business partnering experience would be ideal
    • Strong financial background with knowledge of PnL and the balance sheet
    • Experience of working with a large ERP system
    • Strong Excel and reporting skills

    Job Offer

    The salary on offer is between £30,000 and £35,000 dependent upon experience and qualification. There is a study package on offer for ACCA/CIMA and a generous benefits package.
