The role is initially for 6 months with a view of becoming a full-time position. You will be directly reporting to the Group Financial Controller. Key Duties and Responsibilities - Reconcile incoming investment accounts - Reconcile outgoing redemption and interest payments - Handle incoming and outgoing investors' cheques - Process batch payments for investors, salaries and expenses - Intercompany recharges - Maintain supplier ledger and make payments - Monthly payroll run using MoneySoft, experience of MoneySoft will be advantageous but not necessary - Reconcile credit/prepaid cards expenditure - Monthly accruals of interest receivable and payable - Preparation of monthly Management Information pack - Assistance in preparation and monitoring of budget and forecast - Preparation and submission of quarterly withholding tax report to HMRC - Assistance in preparation of audit - Record keeping (electronic and physical) - Other ad hoc duties Requirements - Part qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, ICAEW or CIMA at intermediate level or AAT fully qualified) - Financial services industry experience in a similar role is desirable. - Knowledge of QuickBooks would be advantageous. Hours of Work: Core hours are 8.30am - 5.30pm; however, flexibility is required to meet essential business deadlines.
