If so, then we have a superb opportunity to join a large professional business based in Nottingham as a Purchase Ledger Manager. Providing exceptional service to customers, our client adopts a genuinely different approach and prides themselves on their longstanding relationships with their customers. In this position you will manage, develop and lead the accounts payable team, ensuring the smooth running of the office and continuing their excellent service. This is a fantastic opportunity where you will have the chance to maintain and improve departmental processes, adding your own personal touch to truly make a difference. To be considered for the role, you'll require the following essentials: Current or recent experience of managing a Purchase Ledger Team Previous experience of working in a client focused environment with the ability to communicate at all levels A proven focus on improving effectiveness and efficiency of processes Strong leadership skills & proven ability to multitask Experience of dealing with stakeholders at all levels Ability to manage and prioritise an extensive caseload The successful candidate will have strong managerial skills with a positive team spirit and a robust approach to relationships. Within this position, you'll also be: Working with minimum direction managing the accounts payable team Setting targets and manages staff performance Maintaining accurate team measurement and performance statistics Ensuring the accounts payable team interacts well with all stakeholders Looking for process improvements and efficiencies in the team's day to day work Overseeing daily, weekly and month end accounts payable functions including the month end close process Compiling month end reporting for distribution to senior finance managers and business representatives Identifying and managing potential problem accounts Managing escalated disputed accounts and brings to resolution Investigating and handles escalated queries and compiles documentation for escalation to senior management Liaises with stakeholders for issue resolution Salary & Working Hours Salary is £30,000 - £35,000pa basic salary depending on experience.
