Currently recruiting an opportunity for a Qualified Financial Controller based near Dunstable in Bedfordshire. Taking a leading role within the Senior Management Team providing effective and efficient management. Delivering high-level financial support, guidance and oversight to the Contract and wider Company initiatives. Key Accountabilities:
• Line Management of the contract finance team.
• Responsible for the Financial Figures
• Full responsibility for the production of the monthly client application, ensuring correct representation of cost capture & allocation.
• Management of the month end process, including production of the P&L, Balance Sheet and all other Financial Reporting.
• Full responsibility for the Balance Sheet.
• Lead on the financial governance processes for the contract including liaison and provision of information to external audit, client's internal auditors and other audit reviews.
• Support the business in key decision support activities.
• To take executive responsibility in identifying, managing and reporting business Risks and Opportunities.
• Provide financial guidance and management on the contract making appropriate recommendations for Senior Managers.
• Ensure all financial policies and procedures relevant to the contract are current and adhered to.
• Lead on the internal and external audit, liaising with auditors to address and answer the queries, implementing and monitoring any audit recommendations.
• Support in preparation of the annual budget and quarterly reviews.
• Support the business in the regular forecasting exercises, ensuring a high degree of forecasting accuracy, challenging budget holders.
• Support the wider company finance and operational functions by taking a leading role in strategic projects as requested.
• Support the Directors to deliver the service taking, an active role in projects. You will be Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with experience in a finance role including leading and managing finance teams. Experience in the preparation and monitoring of financial reports, annual budgets and forecasts.
